Dr. Young performs medical diagnostics as well as therapeutic modalities that address a variety of musculoskeletal-related pain conditions. Medical acupuncture is routinely performed as an adjunctive treatment to reduce pain, decrease spasm, improve flexibility, enhance sleep, promote weight control, diminish stress, promote balance and reduce reliance on medication, cigarettes and alcohol. Our approach provides a comprehensive treatment program utilizing traditional and alternative modalities. Dr. Young is a board-certified Physician in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and has been practicing Pain Management for eighteen years. A registered medical acupuncturist, Dr. Young received his medical acupuncture training at the University of Southern California-LA (UCLA) physician acupuncture training program. Dr. Young serves on the faculty of local University teaching hospitals and has lectured and participated in humanitarian work internationally. The Center also offers nutritional counseling provided by a licensed Nutritionist. Through it's years of service to the Baltimore, Maryland community, the Center has earned the respect and recognition of the health care establishment. Dr. Young has been recognized by Baltimore Magazine as a "Top Doctor".
